Hours Of Operation

The Cancer Centre is an outpatient facility providing comprehensive cancer care. The Centre is open Monday through Friday during daytime working hours and is closed on weekends and statutory holidays.

Our medical and professional staff is available 24 hours a day. During business hours we recommend that you call the Centre automated attendant number (613) 544-2631 and then enter the direct extension number of the department or staff you wish to contact. A listing of department telephone numbers is available in this binder. A switchboard operator may be reached during regular business hours at the Centre’s main telephone number (613) 544-2630 or toll free 1-800-567-5722.

Medical Care After Regular Hours

If you require medical care after hours, please phone or go to your local Emergency Department. If you need to contact your oncologist, telephone the Centre switchboard number (613) 544-2630. You will be connected to the telephone answering service operator. You may leave a message regarding your problem at a specific extension (but please note that this message will be received on the next working day) or if you need to speak to an oncologist, the answering service will page the oncologist on duty who will return your call.
