Palliative Care is active care that is directed at improving your quality of life at any
stage of your illness. Our Palliative Care Team aims to help relieve the physical, emotional,
social and spiritual problems that you and your family may face when you have a diagnosis of
cancer. Specialty teams of palliative care Doctors, Nurses and other health care professionals
are available to provide for your needs at the Cancer Centre, in Kingston General Hospital and
in your community.
