the quality of life of people living with cancer.
If you or someone you care about has been diagnosed with cancer, the Canadian
Cancer Society can help. We offer...

Information about cancer, diagnosis, treatment, and coping with cancer are
available throughout the Cancer Centre at the Cancer Information Kiosk and a
number of resource racks. Materials are also available at the Canadian Cancer
Society’s FL&A Unit office at 2795 Princess Street in Kingston.
Peer support
You don’t have to face cancer alone. The Canadian Cancer Society can connect
people living with cancer to others who have shared a similar experience. We
provide support services for people living with a cancer and their caregivers
over the telephone, in person, and in a group setting. For more information
contact the Canadian Cancer Society at 1 800 263-6750.
Transportation
If you need help getting to your cancer-related care, the Canadian Cancer
Society can work with you to find the best way to get you there. For more
information or to register for the program contact the Canadian Cancer Society
at 1 888 939-3333 or your local unit office
Support at treatment centres and lodges
We are in regional cancer centres, community clinics, and lodges throughout
Ontario to provide practical support, comfort, and information to people
receiving treatment and their loved ones. The Society’s Volunteer Resources
Coordinator is located on site. Any volunteer will be happy to direct you
there.
