Conference Planning Sub-Committee
Background
A goal of the RONC-SEO is to provide regional oncology nursing leadership in
practice, education and research. In May 2006, RONC will hold its 1st Biennial
Regional Oncology Nurses Conference. The focus of the conference is the older
adult and the cancer continuum (prevention to palliation).
Draft Terms of Reference
Mission Statement
To support the education and practice needs of nurses regionally through
biennial oncology nursing conferences.
Major Functions

To provide the RONC-SEO membership with topics of relevance that impact patient
outcomes,

To develop a budget and fund raising strategies,

Collaborate with content experts for appropriate speakers,

Liaise with agency members for all matters related to the conference
Terms

Meetings will be at the call of the Chair(s)

Committee Membership categories will be reviewed biennially.
