Website Sub-Committee
Background
The website was developed, implemented and officially launched on April 19,
2005. The website can act as a knowledge translation vehicle. It is the desire
of the RONC-SEO, that nurses' will access the website when they require timely
specialized oncology education and when needing timely information that would
assist in coordinating client/patient care activities across the care and
cancer continuum.
Terms of Reference
Mission Statement
To ensure that the RONC-SEO website is maintained according to the standards as
set out by KGH and CCSEO.
Major Functions

To provide the RONC-SEO membership with readily available, up-to-date,
pertinent electronic information on the council activities, operations and
events,
-
To provide nurses at large with pertinent electronic information on the nature
and operations of the RONC-SEO
-
Manage the content of information for oncology nursing
-
Liaise with the KGH/CCSEO Webmaster for all matters related to the
administration, security and operations.

Collaborate with content experts for accurate and timely information
Terms
-
Meetings will be quarterly or at the call of the Chair.

Committee Membership categories will be reviewed annually. The membership
consists of representation from the following programs and/or services:

Clinical Practice Leader, Oncology SEO (1)

Heath Unit (1)
-
Screening (1)
-
Regional Community Nursing Agencies (1)
-
Community Care Access Centre(1)
-
Education Facility (1)
-
(Ad hoc) members from various practice settings as required.

Agenda items will be forwarded to the Chair five (5) working days before the
meeting.

Minutes of the meetings will be circulated to the membership in a timely
manner.

Quorum will be a minimum of 50 % of membership plus one

Leadership and Reporting Structure:

Chairs will be appointed annually
-
Clinical Practice Leader, Oncology will provide leadership and administrative
support

Written reports will be submitted to the RONC-SEO
