Physical Support Physical Support
Patients may come with pre-existing physical medical conditions,
or may experience physical symptoms such as pain, fatigue,
etc. as a result of their therapeutic regime. The therapeutic
regimen may exacerbate underlyling or pre-existing chronic
conditions such as congestive heart failure, diabetes, or
arthritis. The patient may present with a cluster of symptoms,
which demand the expert assessment skills and knowledge of
the Oncology Nurse.
