Therapy Brockville at Brockville General Hospital
The Brockville General Hospital Chemotherapy site is up and
running.
We are slowly building a patient base and to date have helped
some patients from having to drive to the Cancer Centre of
SEO at Kingston General Hospital for their treatment.
The Ambulatory Care Unit (ACU) nursing staff is involved
administering chemotherapy, chemotherapy related procedures
such as removing ambulatory infusion pumps and cancer administration
of supportive therapies such as blood transfusions and bisphosphanates
e.g. Pamidronate.
We have a very bright corner in our ACU for patients and
their family. We are looking forward to expanding our program
and serving more patients in the Leeds and Grenville counties.
